NEW UPDATED PRICE!Architectural Description: The property at 2033 West Broad Street is a two-story, three-bay, early twentieth-century commercial building with Neo-Classical styling that dates to 1922. Rectangular in form, the foundation is likely continuous poured concrete. The building’s masonry structural system is composed of 6:1 common-bond brick that has been… Read Morepainted, recently in various places like the façade and the first floor of the east elevation to hide graffiti, but historically with large advertisements at the northeast corner of the second floor. The flat roof is hidden by stepped-parapet walls with brick coping, but a brick stairway extends above the roofline at the southeast corner of the building permitting access to the top of the structure. No chimneys are visible from the street. An elevator shaft resides in the south east corner of the building.
On the Broad Street façade the parapet takes on a decorative form, rising to a central crest and capped by a soldier row of bricks. A dentiled, wood cornice covered by metal flashing separates the third floor from the decorative parapet. The central door and flanking storefront windows are boarded over, as are the second floor windows. Double-hung, wood frame, multi-light over single-pane windows in tripartite arrangements (12/1 flanked by 6/1 sidelights) fill the east and west bays of the third floor, but a single, segmental arched opening in the middle bay is partially boarded over.
